Dec 1 - 6:15-6:30 PM - Pre-Walk gathering and candle lighting at the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand, Rehoboth Avenue at the Boardwalk

Dec 1 - 6:30 PM - Candlelight Walk begins at the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand and proceeds down Rehoboth Avenue, ending at All Saints' Church, 18 Olive Avenue in Rehoboth Beach

Dec 1 - 7:00 PM - Service of Remembrance and Hope—including the reading of the names at All Saints' Church, 18 Olive Avenue in Rehoboth

Dec 1 - 7:45 PM - Light supper at All Saints' Episcopal Church

Please join us on Wednesday, December 1st, when AIDS Delaware, along with our partners, Brandywine Counseling & Community Services, Connections Community Support Programs, and the Delaware HIV Consortium, will host the 2010 World AIDS Day Service - Candlelight Vigil. The Vigil is an interdenominational service where we remember those who are living with HIV/AIDS and those who have lost their battle. The Candlelight Vigil will begin at 6:00 PM at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1502 West 13th Street (Pennsylvania Avenue at Rodney Street), Wilmington, DE 19806.

Dr. Gregory Jones of Westminster Presbyterian Church will preside over the service. Bob Bercaw; Rev. Juan George of Trinity Episcopal Church; Rev. Emily Schwenker, Independent Pastor; Rev. Christopher Simms of Bethany Church; Mr. Paul Fleckenstein, Organist; and The Rainbow Chorale of Delaware will participate in the service. (List of participants as of November 19, 2010.)

Light refreshments will be served at a reception following the Vigil. Food collection boxes for the Christmas Boxes Project for Needy Families will be placed throughout the church.
